Please allow everything to cure for at least 48 hours before using. When cleaning do not use any harsh chemicals or anything abrasive such as Comet or Ajax. Any household cleaner that doesn’t contain abrasives is fine. Please call us if you have any questions regarding this.
We also offer a non-slip bottom that is a polymer particle system which we can do during the refinishing process free of charge.

Specialized Refinishing Co. uses the following procedure with our skilled technicians for all tile refinishing, resurfacing, and reglazing jobs:
- We fix or replace any loose tiles.
- We thoroughly clean all of the tile, and re-grout as needed.
- We fill and sand any holes, chips, or cracks.
- We remove any fixtures or hardware that is in contact with the areas to be refinished.
- We thoroughly prep the entire surface to maximize longevity of the glaze.
- We mask off all areas to protect from over spray.
- We use a ventilation system to vent any fumes out of the house.
- We apply 5 coats of glaze which is heat cured.
- We then caulk as needed.
